Singular & Superb Ramen Dishes Offered in Osaka & Kyoto
Hello, I’m Misano. I would like to share my experience of several singular & superb ramen restaurants I visited during my recent stay in Osaka and Kyoto.
Ramen Muraji Kyoto Gion
First, I visited Ramen Muraji Kyoto Gion, which was located in Kyoto’s Gion and near Tatsumi-bashi, a local famous spot. The Restaurant faced a path having a representative tone of Kyoto.
A first-time visitor can hardly associate such serenity with a restaurant.
In the restaurant, I ordered Lemon Ramen, a limited-supply dish.
Lemon Ramen: 800 yen ※ (served within a limited period)
The healthy white chicken soup with tasty sour lemons would perfectly suit the taste of ladies.
The thin noodles went well with the refreshing broth, and the combination was very delicious.

bird
Then I went to “bird”, a ramen restaurant in Higashi-Umeda, Osaka. The restaurant was on the corner of Hankyu Higashi-dori Shopping Street and a pathway, and the lantern hanging beside the door bore “ラーメン” (ramen).
The menu featured ramen dishes topped with cotton candy.
Ramen: 780 yen
As cotton candy slowly dissolved, mild sweetness was added to the broth and the flavor was rendered unique. The unexpected combination of soy sauce based broth and cotton candy (granulated sugar) nearly overwhelmed me. ♡
