Aichi Prefecture’s Men-Only Capsule Hotel “Wellbe Nagoya Imaike”
“Wellbe Nagoya” is a very popular capsule hotel chain in Nagoya. This time, I visited their Imaike location.
One night’s stay, which includes a breakfast buffet, starts at 4220 yen. It may be a capsule hotel, but guests can also enjoy an outdoor bath and sauna as well. Another point of appeal is the unlimited access net booths, where you can watch all the movies you want.

The outside looked old and small, but it’s surprisingly spacious inside!
This time I chose the capsule lodging plan, but you can pay to just use the sauna as well.
You can change into the clothes prepared for you in the lockers.
It looks pretty comfortable!
Guests are free to read all of the manga and magazines they’d like out of around 8000 choices!
The dining hall’s menu consists of selections that average around 600 yen.

Starting at 15:00 every day, they also offer “sauna yoga” (approx. 8 minutes) taught by a female instructor, as well as a popular entertainment sauna combining stretching and the Finnish “löyly.”
Towels, razors, toothbrushes, and other necessities are available to use for free.
This is a space you can relax in after you use the sauna. The lounge rooms are located on the first basement floor and the second floor.

The breakfast buffet was even more substantial than I had expected!
A downside to my stay was that there is no elevator in the building, but other than that, I was satisfied with my visit!
