Enjoy Green Tea in these Japan-Made Teacups at 100-Yen Shop “DAISO”!
I found these “yunomi” teacups at the 100-yen shop “DAISO”! Yunomi are a type of cup mainly used for drinking green tea. They’re made in Japan, and, of course, they are only 100 yen each! Let’s get on with the introduction!

Japan-Made Teacups for Just 100 Yen!
The rim is about 8cm in diameter, and they’re just the right thickness.
The blue flower pattern is simple.

The label shows that these are “Mino-yaki” cups. Mino-yaki is a type of ceramic that is made in Gifu Prefecture and surrounding areas. Mino-yaki tableware’s functionality and beauty brings out the deliciousness in dishes served in it.
These cups are both microwave and dishwasher-safe. They should not come in contact with direct heat or be put in the oven.
Taking a Break with Green Tea!
I immediately tried the cups out with some warm green tea. They’re the perfect size and thickness.
It really is nicer to drink green tea out of a teacup rather than a coffee cup after all!

Japanese sweets and rice crackers are good too, but western-style sweets go well with green tea as well!

By the way, these soy milk biscuits are 120 yen for 70 grams. They also have added calcium. They’re delicious and simply flavored!
DAISO also carries a variety of other made-in-Japan tableware, so you can pick up as many Japanese-style dishes as you like!
