The Soft-Serve Ice Cream at Osaka's PeccaPu Specialty Shop is Too Cute!
Today I'd like to tell you about PeccaPu, an ice cream shop that opened in May of 2017. They offer an evolutionary type of soft-serve ice cream that comes from South Korea.
You can choose from a lot of toppings to customize your cone. That's why it's so popular!
The green wall and pink bus stop sign really stand out, even from a distance!
The sign says that selfishness is spice, sweetness is magic, and cuteness is always a girl's right. This gives off an aura that makes it kind of hard for men to enter.
Although I'm a man, I'm used to this shop so I had no problem going in there, but I was told that no other man has entered this shop.
Featuring an interior design full of femininity, the counter seats inside the shop were crowded with a group of young women.
This Photogenic Soft-serve Ice Cream is Perfect for Social Media Posts!
You can choose your own cone, ice cream and toppings at this shop, allowing you to make an ice cream that's one of a kind.
A candy stick fashioned in the shape of a heart is placed inside a waffle cone decorated with colored chocolate.
While the basic price of a cup of ice cream is ¥500, most people add a decoration cone and topping to make a cuter ice cream.
There is a place inside the shop designed for ice cream photos. Just by placing their ice cream here, anyone can take a cute and photogenic picture!
Today, I'd like to introduce two types of soft-serve ice cream!
Mango Yogurt soft-serve ice cream
- Mango Yogurt ice cream ¥500
- Decoration cone ¥300 extra
- Colorful donuts ¥100 extra
Mango sauce and mango fruit are added to a milky soft-serve ice cream. This item comes with yogurt sauce at the cone base, and colorful donuts make it look cuter!
Berry Berry soft-serve ice cream
- Berry Berry ice cream ¥500
- Decoration cone ¥300 extra
- O-iri (a traditional Japanese candy from Kagawa Prefecture) ¥100 extra
The milk-flavored soft-serve ice cream is paired with strawberry sauce and strawberry jam. Its sweet and sour taste is so delicious! The O-iri is cute and has a nice mouthfeel, too.
You can also take a photogenic shot of your cones in front of the outside wall.
There is such a wide variety of toppings that you may wonder what to get, but choosing it is also fun. This shop is open late, so it would be a great place for an after-dinner treat!
