Imano Tokyo Hostel is an Affordable Hostel Near Shinjuku Station in Tokyo
Imano Tokyo Hostel is located in Shinjuku, the heart of Tokyo. A stay in this convenient location starts at just 3500 yen per night.
The central-east exit of Shinjuku Station is located just about a 10-minute walk away.
Area Around the Hostel
When you step out onto the main street, the restaurant “Misen So” is on the right.
The all-you-can-eat yakiniku lunch here for 1080 yen is a big draw.
Introducing the Hostel’s Amenities!
The 1st floor of the hotel features a café and bar.
Non-guests can also make use of the café and bar.
There is free Wi-Fi available inside the hostel.
For breakfast they offer a half-buffet for 600 yen.
While it’s fairly cheap, you can enjoy a lot of food for the price, so we highly recommend it!
You can even purchase items like toothbrushes and towels.
It looks like they could use a few more.
There are shower rooms located on each floor. They are available for use 24 hours a day.
There is also a room equipped with a bathtub.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and pots. The kitchen is also available for use 24 hours a day.
Rooms are opened using the passcode you get from reception.
Dormitory Rooms
This time, I stayed in a dormitory-style room (6-person room).
They also offer women-only dormitories and private rooms.
Luggage is scattered about.
It’s unfortunate that there aren’t any big enough lockers.
The beds are fairly large, and they don’t feel particularly cramped.
You put on the sheets yourself.
There is no TV or anything, so there’s little to occupy yourself with.
There are valuables lockers in the common area. They’re rather small.
They lock with a key, so you can use them as needed.
