Popular Ginza Ramen Restaurant “Ginza Kagari Honten”
“Ginza Kagari Honten” is a ramen restaurant that opened at the end of 2018. The restaurant Michelin-recognized as Bib Gourmand, and it’s so popular that there is always a long line. It specializes in chicken-based ramen, and its beautiful arrangement and elegant interior make it feel like a high-class Japanese restaurant. I decided to stop by for lunch.
Menu and Payment Methods
The ramen here can be divided into 3 categories: chicken broth soba, chicken soba, and chicken tsukesoba.
A bowl starts at 980 yen. A larger portion costs 100 yen extra.
They also offer other items, like ramen made with luxurious truffle.

Chicken Soba (980 yen)
It’s recommended to enjoy this dish as-is at first, but partway through to add “onion oil” to enjoy a slightly different flavor.

The soup is lovingly made, combining 5 types of soy sauce into 3 types of chicken broth.
The balance between the chicken’s umami, saltiness, and sweetness is absolutely perfect.

There’s also a wonton in the soup.

There was also chicken tenderloin and wagyu beef. The toppings here are such luxurious things that you don’t usually see in ramen.

The noodles used are straight and thin.
They go well with the soup.

Chicken Broth Shoyu Soba (1,000 yen)
It’s recommended to add toppings like ginger and fried onions partway through eating this dish.
The soup is a chicken broth, and it’s a very skillful production of a Japanese-esque ramen.

I meant to stop by before it became super crowded, but apparently the restaurant is becoming even more well-known, and even tourists are stopping by. Be sure to visit with plenty of time to spare.
