[Closed Down] Okinawa Music Box Museum

Okinawa is a popular tourist destination thanks to its year round warmth, beautiful sea and its unique culture. Okinawa Music Box Museum is located on the 1st floor of Chatan Distortion Seaside Building, also home to Chatan Park and in the iconic Okinawan resort area Sunset Beach. Here you’ll find over 10,000 music boxes across 1,500 types, both large and small, and many music boxes exclusive to Okinawa, including ones themed after Shisa (Okinawan lions) and whale sharks, as well as ones with Okinawa-related songs. There is even a corner where you can experience handmaking your own music box!
The gorgeous ocean spreads out before your eyes here, and you can even see the beautiful sunset scenery from inside!
