Washuzan Rest House

Washuzan Rest House is a quiet spot just steps from Washuzan Observation Deck. Come here to enjoy a rest, a relaxing meal, and a scenic view out over the beautiful islands dotting the Seto Inland Sea as it stretches towards Shikoku and the distant Seto Ohashi Bridge.

The menu features a rich sampling of the ocean’s best, with fresh treasures born here in the teeming currents of the Seto Inland Sea. In addition to sushi and tempura sets, there’s plenty of local favorites like the Okayama famed Demi-glace Katsudon, and “Stone-Roasted Octopus Bimbimbap”, a fusion of the famous Tako-meshi and Stone-Roasted Bimbimbap from Shimotsui, Kurashiki.
For those looking for a feast, there’s also authentic Japanese Kaiseki and other plates to delight your every fancy. The rest house also features a souvenir shop and free-to-use rest area on site.
