NIFREL is a new type of museum produced by Kaiyukan that combines an aquarium,a zoo and an art museum. The concept of the museum is "KANSEI NIFREL" (appealing to your inspiration)," and the entire space expresses the theme by combining changing lighting, music, and videos. The exhibits are divided into eight zones according to theme: "Colors", "Abilities," "Swim," "WONDER MOMENTS," "Mimic," "Waterside," "Behavior," and "Biodiversity".

The most popular exhibit is the white tiger in the "Mizube ni fureru (Touch the Waterside)" zone. The white tiger is a rare species designated as an endangered species, and there are only about 250 of them in the world.
There is also a "Tiger Walk" where white tigers walk above visitors' heads, giving them a chance to closely observe their paw prints. The cafe "EAT EAT EAT" is adjacent to this zone. NIFREL's famous "water to eat," which has a wobbly texture, is also available.

If you get a clear stamp at the exit gate of NIFREL, you can re-enter only on the same day, and the area is also home to one of the largest large-scale complexes in Japan,LaLaport EXPOCITY and Expo Park. If you use the re-entry system, you can also enjoy the surrounding area and have a full day of fun.

There is direct bus service from Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station to EXPOCITY that is available only on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. On weekdays only, there is free shuttle bus service from JR Senrioka Station, Hankyu Kita-senri Station, and Hankyu Minami- Senri Station front. Let’s make good use of the services.

    和一般傳統動物園、水族館不一樣的展示模式,讓生物和人可以直接互動式的接觸,而且又結合了藝術概念,是非常新奇而且有趣!
