Last update :

This hot spring hotel is modestly located in the mountains of Totsukawa Village, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a Sacred Site and Pilgrimage Route in the Kii Mountain Range. The hotel has nine spacious, independent rooms on a vast site of over 3,000 square meters amid a mystical landscape with deep greenery. All guest rooms are over 50 square meters and adorned with Yoshino cedar and Hinoki cypress, leaving a pleasant wooden aroma. Japanese-style rooms with 12 tatami mats make for a perfect vacation stay.

Their bathing hot spring water is directly brought in from the source; a historical hot spring resort that has been popular for over 560 years. This hot spring water, famous for creating smooth skin, keeps pouring into all the baths of the hotel 24 hours a day. In addition to the open-air baths and indoor baths in the room, there are also private-use large baths "Rindou" and "Hototobisu" in separate buildings. Stretching out your arms and legs in the spacious baths will surely unwind your stress and fatigue.

Dinner is served in a dining room with a table placed over a hori-kotatsu (a low table with a hole in the floor). Their skilled chefs prepare a variety of colorful dishes using carefully selected seasonal ingredients from Totsukawa Village and the Kii Peninsula. The guests can continue to relax more after dinner by having a drink at the attached bar.

Meals can be delivered to the rooms in a decorative dining box which their skilled chefs have prepared using a variety of colorful dishes and carefully selected seasonal ingredients from Totsukawa Village and the Kii Peninsula. This allows the guests to eat in a comfortable way in their room.

*The dining room and bar are currently closed (as of July 2021).
