Hanashibuki (Hospitality in full bloom)

The hotel stands in an area that retains the atmosphere of a fishing town, surrounded by the sea with Kuroshio current and the mountainous countryside. Right front of the hotel is Shiomi Beach, a perfect strolling beach for all year round, and in the clear day, you can see the magnificent Mt.Fuji in distance.

Tateyama Shiomi Onsen, the private water source for the hotel’s bath, is pure hot spring without adding any other water. Its sodium spring water feels soft on the skin, warming the body from deep inside. Their large bathhouse and open-air baths provide a chance to experience the power of the pure spring water with rich minerals from sea which gushes from deep underground. After bathing, they offer a cold drink and a foot massage free of charge.

Their meal is filled with fresh seafood on each plates. The seafood can be local fish caught in fixed nets, lobsters caught in the traditional techniques with a net, and other carefully selected ingredients. Their stylish restaurant has an open atmosphere that maximizes the view of the sea. The restaurant is also known for the lively setting; freshly cooked hot dishes delivered directly from the open kitchen. The building is also equipped with various resort-like spaces, such as an elegant lounge around the fireplace where serves a good tea and an open seaside terrace where you can enjoy the blue ocean and pleasant sea breeze.
