Mt. YOKOTE Manten View Terrace

Mt. Yokote is the highest mountain in the beautiful mountain range of Shiga Kogen. Here, there is the highest permanent ski lift in Japan, and the summit of the 2,307-meter-high mountain can be reached without walking by using the "Skylator," a moving walkway, and chairlifts.
The view from the summit is spectacular, with the Shirane Volcano, Mt. Shiga, and the Northern Alps peaks visible. Mt.Fuji and the Sea of Japan can be seen from the summit if the weather permits.
There is also a café with a great view. At the year-round "2307 Sky Café", located in front of the Skylator boarding area, visitors can enjoy grilled curry and bamboo shoot pizza prepared by the hotel chef while gazing at the spectacular view.
In addition, "The Crumpet Cafe," located on the second floor of the summit station building, offers crumpets of British origin topped with pulled pork, apples, cream cheese & caramel, and at "Point 2307", a new terrace on a steep slope that opened in 2021, visitors can enjoy peach smoothies and mountain's lemon honey milk smoothies.
