This shopping center is located directly outside the gates inside JR Wakayama Station. It’s split into the Main Building and North Wing, inside which you’ll find over 70 different shops selling apparel, good eats, Wakayama souvenirs and other ways to kick back.
The main building includes a massive 5,200 m2 space across 5 floors and one basement floor. On the B1 floor you’ll find favorites like Kokumin Drug, Seria and even eateries to try like Marumi Shouten, known for its local Wakayama Ramen. Don’t forget the “purikura” booths inside to take a few commemorative snaps.
On the first floor you’ll find a Tully’s café location, as well as Premium Wakayama, a souvenir shop with the prefecture’s veritable best items to shop for gifts and more. With so much inside it makes for an easy popover while waiting for a train.
On the 2nd floor there’s a number of ladies fashion shops, and on the 4th floor you’ll even find anime and manga goods at the animate store.
The north wing includes a 1st, 2nd and 5th floor with 2,400 m2 of space. On the 1st floor you’ll find shops like the import store Kaldi Coffee Farm, or Japanese grocer Kuzefuku Shoten. The 5th floor is the restaurant floor, home to tonkatsu, udon, soba and other tasty options to close off any trip.
In addition to great shopping and food, this shopping mall is a great place to find Wakayama goods and souvenirs for your trip.
