Fujikyu Express Discount Pass
With this bargain pass, you can ride any and all local lines of Fujikyu Railway for two days.
Fujikyuko Railway opened in 1926 and offers the Otsuki Line connecting Otsuki Station in Otsuki City, Yamanashi to Mt. Fuji Station in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi, and also Kawaguchiko Line connecting Mt. Fuji Station to Kawaguchiko Station in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi. It is called "the railway closest to Mt. Fuji." Fujikyu Express Pass allows you to ride any of their local lines between Kawaguchiko Station and Otsuki Station where you can switch to JR Chuo Line.
Fujikyu Express Pass is valid for two days, great not only for a day trip but also for an overnight stay.
There are “Mt. Fuji View Express” where you can enjoy the grand view of Mt. Fuji and “Fujisan Express” with the wide windows to look out from. If you are using a non-reserved seat, with the Pass, you can ride express trains without purchasing an express ticket. If you would like a reserved seat, you need to purchase a reservation express ticket separately.
The ticket is 3,000 yen for an adult and 1,500 yen for a child, available at Fujikyu Railway Otsuki Station, Tsurubunkadaigakumae Station, Mt. Fuji Station, Fujikyu Highland Station, and Kawaguchiko Station.
Fujikyu also offers many tickets convenient for touring Mt. Fuji, such as “Mt. Fuji / Fuji Five Lakes Passport” which allows you to ride buses around Mt. Fuji and the Five Lakes at the foot for two days or “Mt. Fuji Fifth Station Pass” valid for transportation up to the fifth station.
