Akinada-Tobishima Kaido, which connects seven islands in the Seto Inland Sea from Kure City to Shimo Kamagari Jima, Kami Kamagari Jima, Toyoshima, Osakishimojima, and Okamura Jima in Ehime prefecture via seven bridges, has a minimum cycling distance of about 30km. Many of the roads run along the coastline where the calm Seto Inland Sea stretches nearby, making it a popular spot for cyclists to enjoy cycling while feeling the sea breeze.

If you are looking for an easy cycling experience, Shimo Kamagari Jima is the place for you. During the Edo period (1603-1868), the island prospered as a transportation hub in the Seto Inland Sea, with the Korean envoys visiting the island. The island has stone-paved streets, museums, and archives, and you can enjoy strolling around the island by bicycle.

At Cottage Kajigahama, you can arrange to rent bicycles. The bicycles can be dispatched or one-way rental, so you can enjoy the sea breeze while cycling along the islands of the Akinada-Tobishima Kaido.
