Himeji Central Park
One of the few Safari Parks in West Japan, known by many as “Hime-Cen”.
Opened in 1984, this is a multilateral venue featuring a Safari Park, and amusement park as its centerpiece. Known as “Hime-Cen”, this theme park represents all of the Kansai region.
Visitors can enter the safari park in their own car, giving you an up-close view of lions and giraffes. You may also take the bus tour around the park. Visitors can take on a walking course, and take part in experiences such as feeding animals, and seeing the majestic white lion and white tiger.
Children can interact with small critters at the “Child’s Farm”. The “Sky Safari”, a ride aboard a 3-tier gondola lift gives you a birds-eye view of the Safari area. Guests of any age can enjoy this.
Apart from the Safari park, during the summer, the “Aquaria”, the largest pool in West Japan is available. A lazy river spanning 260m, a thrilling float slide, the “Rocky River Run”, and other slides delights guests. During the winter, the skating rink, “Kazenoshiro (Wind Castle) Ice Park” is available.
