Ago Bay is known for its complex rias coastline with 60 small and large islands. It is a production area of bluegreen seaweed called Aosa by locals. Kashiko Island, used as a site for Ise-Shima Summit, is connected to the main island by a bridge for better access and there are hotels with marvelous views.

From Yokoyama Observation Deck (Yokoyama Tenku Cafe Terrace) at 140m above sea level offers a grand view over the whole Ago Bay. The sunset that paints the scenery in orange is amazing. You can take out your breakfast from the cafe and enjoy nature. Below the observation deck, there is a visitor center with displays on Ise-Shima National Park’s environment, traditional culture and female divers’ fishing business.

Close to Yokoyama Observation Deck, Komorebi Terrace and Soyokaze Terrace are set up for looking out to the Bay. Around the observation points, there is a trail to let you enjoy hiking through refreshing greens.
