Fuchu Sunaba
Home-made soba noodle restaurant beloved by worshippers and locals.
3-minutes from Fuchuhommachi Station, this soba restaurant is convenient to stop by before or after a worship service at Okunitama-jinja Shrine. In the homey atmosphere, shrine visitors, college students, and families enjoy the home-made noodles without any additives.
The best is Sunaba’s Moriage Soba (1,155 yen). Two-containers of smooth soba noodles are generously topped with crisp grated Daikon radish, very satisfying with burdock and Megochi fish tempura as a side.
Besides regular soba and udon menu, spicy udon, Nabeyaki udon, Hoto noodles and lots more to offer. Toro-Meshi Curry Udon, the rice with grated yam topped with curry udon noodles (1,210 yen), and other unique dishes and snacks for a drink such as Soba-Yaki Miso (440 yen) come in a great variety.
