Last update :

Sakaza Nakakyu Honten is located along the Kyukoushukaido Street, and has been there since 1860. This historical Sake shop has created Sake for the gods as ordained by Okunitama-jinja Shrine. They still strive to produce “Kouzuru”, a Fuchu local sake adored by many.

In their shop is the famous “Kouzuru”. They also sell Sake and Shochu from Sake manufacturers across Japan. They also sell wine, whiskey and other liquors. Their products change seasonally, which is great for visitors.

Recommended is the “Kouzuru 300ml 3 Bottle Set”(2,600 yen), which buyers can sample different types of said sake. It includes “Kouzuru” daiginjyo, jyunmaiginjyo, and junmai bottles. Seasonal sake include “Kouzuru Natsu no Jyunmai Ginjyo Nakaya Kyubey 720mL” (1,716 yen).

"Kura Cafe" is attached to the liquor store, visitors can taste “Sake Lees Latte” (600 yen) made from Sake lees. The 2nd floor of the cafe hosts a Sake sampling event, once per month except in August. (Check website for operating days, reservations required).
