Aokiya Fuchu Keyaki Namiki-dori Avenue Store
A historical confectionary store manufacturing and selling “Musashino Nisshi”, a popular Musashino snack.
Opened in 1893, this is a historical Fuchu confectionery. They produce snacks in a factory and sell snacks in 13 stores around Fuchu. The popular Baumkuchen (Tree cake) “Musashino Nisshi”, Dumplings, Dorayaki, Sables, Cookies and other Japanese or Western snacks are lined up.
The bite-sized “Musashino Nisshi” (Chocolate and White Chocolate Flavors 8 piece 1,660 yen) is a historical Musashino snack adored for more than 50 years. It is a perfect gift. Flavors are available in chocolate cream, white chocolate cream, seasonal flavors including Uji Matcha and strawberry.
The “Hibikore Kurodora” (5 pieces 1,100 yen) is another popular snack. It uses Okinawa black sugar, high quality dough, and Hokkaido red bean paste. This hearty Dorayaki is usually sold out in the afternoon.
