Cafe Tirol

A long-established coffee shop that regrettably closed is back. Take a break with a cup of home-roasted specialty coffee.

Last update :

Founded in 1939, Asahikawa's oldest coffee shop closed its doors after two generations, but then the manager of the time took over the name and building and reopened the store in 2011. The brick walls and high-backed seating create a relaxing and atmospheric space that makes one feel nostalgic.

Cafe Tirol uses only specialty coffee beans. The coffee is roasted in-house in three different ways: shallow roast, medium roast, and deep roast, allowing you to enjoy the changes in aroma and flavor. In addition, each cup of coffee is carefully hand-drip brewed to order, so you can enjoy the true flavor of the beans without losing any of their flavor. The water used is also from a spring in Kuromatsunai, and is known for its smooth taste.

A wide variety of coffee accompaniments are also available. Sweets such as homemade cakes and parfaits, and homemade soft-serve ice cream made from Okoppe milk are available. A wide variety of food is also available, making it a good place for lunch.
