Their brass band and marching performances have received worldwide acclaim.
The brass band club of Kyoto Tachibana High School was founded in 1961. The band is highly acclaimed for its overwhelming performance ability and excellent marching skills, which are unbelievable for high school students. It has had many opportunities to perform with top artists. Their iconic orange costume, handed down for over half a century, has earned them the nickname "Orange Devils" for its impactful appearance.
In recent years, they have been actively expanding overseas, and in 2022 they performed at "Double Ten Day," a ceremony to celebrate Taiwan's National Day. Their performance attracted so much attention that it was even featured on a TV program, surprising the whole of Taiwan. The audience went enthusiastically and gave them a standing ovation when they performed their powerful live music and brilliant dance.
In Japan, they perform about 70 concerts and various events throughout the year, including regular concerts. Their performances, which have created a social phenomenon in Taiwan and are highly acclaimed around the world, are well worth seeing.
