The planetarium dome "Science Egg", equipped with the projector "CHIRON II", projects more than 140 million stars, allowing visitors to enjoy a realistic starry sky with a sense of depth and powerful images on the dome screen that is 27.5m in diameter. In addition to the starry sky that can be seen in Tokyo on that night, visitors are guided through a different theme approximately every two months. Light-hearted live commentary by an astronomy group is also popular.

There are about 100 hands-on exhibits in five themed rooms. The "Meet the Science" has exhibits that are very user-friendly for visitors with simple questions about space, such as "What's the Moon like?”, “How do we go to space?”, etc. In the "Body & Senses," visitors can try various sensory games, such as a tactile game and a scent-guessing quiz, to rediscover the functions of the body.

Take-out is available at the café, which offers meals made with koji (malt) and local vegetables, as well as handmade sweets. The rest area also allows visitors to bring in their own meals, making it an ideal outing for the whole family.
