These ski slopes were used for speed ski games in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. The Northern Alps panorama and the world-famous fine powder snow are great features for this largest ski slope in Japan.

The 1,831m-high top provides a stunning panorama over Mt. Myoko and Togakushi, smoking Mt. Asama, Yatsugatake mountain range with the background of Northern Alps’ three Hakuba mountains.

Various courses for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers are available. “Nakiyama Snowland” offers an easy course for children and beginners. Even if you are trying for the first time or have small children, you can safely enjoy skiing.

The restaurants serve hamburgers, pasta, ramen, soba, and other food with Hakuba’s local ingredients.
