Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2022, Hibikinada Green Park is the largest park in the city. It surrounds the Tonoda Reservoir in Kitakyushu City and is a beautiful park that has been selected as one of the "Top 100 City Parks in Japan."

With a theme of "interaction with water, greenery, and animals," the expansive park offers a variety of facilities including spacious lawns, a "Tropical Ecology Garden," "Pony Plaza," cycling courses, and a "splash pad" where you can spend the entire day. A campsite also opened in 2023.

Surrounded by lush nature, you can enjoy flowers throughout the four seasons. From mid-February to mid-April, about 200 cherry blossom trees bloom, making it a popular spot for hanami (cherry blossom viewing). The "Rose Garden," which blooms with about 450 varieties and 2,700 roses, is also a must-see. The "Rose Fair" is also held in spring and autumn.

Also of note is the "World's Longest Swing," completed in 2019, which is 163.35 meters long and can accommodate 100 people. The swing, which offers different views depending on where you sit, is recognized by Guinness World Records™ as the longest swing ride in the world.
