Located on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Fukuya Dazaifu Store offers not only a variety of Fukuya's Mentaiko products but also an eat-in space where you can enjoy Mentaiko Ochazuke. A popular menu item is the "Mentaiko Ochazuke Set - Double Tower Arrangement," which allows you to taste three different types of Mentaiko, finishing off with ochazuke made with Fukuya's special broth.
The store also offers a variety of Mentaiko products. Unique to the Dazaifu store are the "Gokaku Can" and "Shusse Can" (canned Mentaiko in oil), made from the roe of Alaskan pollock, known for changing names as they grow. These items make perfect souvenirs.
