Hotel Ichii, a historic hot spring inn founded in the mid-Edo period, proudly stands in front of Yubatake, the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen, where 4600 liters of hot spring water flow out every minute, filling the air with sulfur's distinctive aroma.

The recently renovated "Sekiden" large bathhouse, completed in 2021, features the precious "Yubatake-mae Shirahata" hot spring, which is only available to about ten inns around Yubatake. Multiple baths with different temperatures allow guests to choose their preferred soaking experience. The outdoor bath "Sekitei" uses the "Shirane-san Bandaiko" hot spring, known for its strong acidity and rich mineral content. The changing scenery, from autumn leaves to snowy landscapes and night views, offers a uniquely Japanese sense of seasonal beauty.

Out of the 120 rooms spread across the main, annex, and west buildings, 25 rooms in the main building offer views of Yubatake. Among these, the Executive Rooms on the top floor (8th floor) were newly renovated in March 2024. These rooms are equipped with luxurious features such as Hida furniture sofas, large projectors, and top-of-the-line Simmons beds, ensuring an exceptional stay. Dinner features a Japanese course meal made with seasonal ingredients, with options to dine in the restaurant or in the dining area, depending on the plan.
