UDS Group's ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN introduces a modern approach to the traditional ryokan experience. Following its debut in Tokyo's Shinjuku in 2019, the Sapporo branch opened in August 2020, featuring an open-air bath equipped with natural hot springs.

Inspired by northern Japan’s traditional inns, the design incorporates high-quality oak sourced from Hokkaido and Sapporo soft stone, blending conventional ryokan architecture with a modern touch, evident throughout the property.

To help guests unwind from the bustle of daily life, the exclusive guest-only large bath features Karurusu Onsen water brought from Noboribetsu. Known for its therapeutic qualities, this hot spring is colorless, odorless, and gentle on the skin, offering a relaxing soak particularly appreciated by female guests.

The ryokan features a Japanese restaurant, offering a limited number of meals that must be reserved by the previous day. Guests can enjoy a breakfast of "wa-gozen," a Japanese-style meal crafted with seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido. For dinner, the restaurant serves traditional Japanese cuisine, including kaiseki dishes centered around the art of "genshiyaki" (primitive grilling).
