Kids Plaza Osaka

Kids Plaza Osaka is Japan's first full-fledged children's museum, designed for kids to learn while playing. This interactive and hands-on museum allows children to explore, touch, and experience the wonders of science, world cultures and more, all while encouraging play. The museum keeps a full menu of workshops where children can engage in different crafts and activities. Volunteer staff are always on hand to drum up interest in the exhibits and support children's learning.

One of the highlights is Kids Town, a unique indoor installation by Austrian artist Hundertwasser, created with messages for children. This area features suspension bridges, slides, and other equipment that encourage physical activity. On the fifth floor, Try It Out Floor, children can generate electricity, create giant soap bubbles they can stand inside, and learn about science and society through play.

In addition to permanent exhibits, Kids Plaza Osaka hosts year-round workshops and special events, ensuring there is always something new to discover, which makes it a popular destination for repeat visitors.
