Saku Ski Garden PARADA is unique in Japan for its direct access from the Joshinetsu Expressway Saku Plateau Smart IC and Saku Plateau PA 2nd parking lot via a huge escalator. This ski resort is the only one in Japan where you can enter directly from a highway.
With a dedicated parking lot that accommodates 1,500 vehicles, all for free, and a sunny weather rate of over 90%, the stable slope condition maintained by artificial snowfall machines is also a reassuring aspect for visitors.
True to its aim of being "Japan's most family and beginner-friendly ski resort," it has newly opened a beginners' exclusive practice slope and a school-exclusive slope this season. The resort offers extensive school lessons, with daily high-quality instruction from top-level instructors. Additionally, one of the largest indoor kids' lands in Japanese ski resorts has also been newly introduced. This all-weather kids' land allows infants and toddlers to play safely, regardless of the weather.
Also on site is "Hirao Onsen Miharashinoyu," allowing you to warm up in a day-use hot spring after enjoying skiing.
