Torafugu dishes are heralded because you can eat them down to the last bite with little waste, a perk you can taste for yourself with any of the diverse menu items including "tecchiri" (fugu hot pot), "tessa" (fugu sashimi), fried fugu, grilled fugu, hirezake (fugu fin sake) and fugu collagen drinks. The "Gen" course, featuring appetizers, tessa, tecchiri, rice porridge, and dessert, is a remarkable value at 5,000 yen. In addition to torafugu, the flagship store also offers seasonal eel dishes and individual crab dishes.
A key component of the torafugu experience is the homemade ponzu sauce, made with sudachi from Kamiyama Town and yuzu from Kito Village in Tokushima Prefecture. This carefully crafted ponzu is all you need to bring out the best of fugu flavor.
