Niseko Konbu Onsen

The Niseko Konbu Onsen area is one of the various hot springs in the "Niseko Onsenkyo" with different water qualities, boasting the largest scale in the Niseko area. Located at the official entrance to "Niseko Annupuri," one of the world's top four ski resorts, it's recognized by the Environmental Agency as a "National Recreation Hot Spring Area" for its expected health benefits and wholesome environment.

Guests can indulge in the mildly alkaline simple spring waters known as "Yudan Onsen," famous for its skin-smoothing effects, in a relaxed setting at the large communal baths of luxurious inns and resort hotels, with day-trip bathing also available. Each lodging has its own source, offering baths with open views of Niseko's vast nature. The water, containing sulfur, is a "sodium-calcium chloride bicarbonate spring," rich in metasilicic acid that is known for moisturizing the skin, leaving bathers with a silky smooth feeling post-bath.

The "Niseko Bathing Pass," popular for casually enjoying the variety of hot springs around Niseko, including Niseko Konbu Onsen, is also recommended. It's valid at 15 facilities in the Niseko area, Iwanai town, and Suttsu town. Available for purchase at "Niseko View Plaza."
