Founded in 2008 by Ogeemeal☆, a spice curry enthusiast who couldn't think of anything but curry. At the time, their original and diverse spice-infused curries were a rarity, quickly gaining media attention and popularity. Columbia 8 is considered the epicenter of the recent spice curry boom sweeping Osaka's gourmet scene.

The standard "Keema Curry" features a unique blend of various spices, offering an unparalleled aromatic and flavorful experience. The signature style includes biting into the green chili pepper on top of the dish as you eat. The accompanying grapefruit juice enhances the dining experience. Another recommendation is the "Vegetable Curry," made entirely from 100% vegetables. If you can't decide, try the "Mixed Curry," which combines the Keema and Vegetable curries with a boiled egg.

With only nine counter seats, the restaurant often has a queue forming before it opens at 11 AM, and it remains full until closing. Be sure to allow plenty of time for your visit.
