Head inside the KAWASAKI Le FRONT shopping complex facing Kawasaki Station to find Kawasui Kawasaki Aquarium and some 300 species of aquatic creatures from near and far, including local regions like Tama River in Kawasaki, and some all the way from Asia, Africa, and the tropical rainforests of South America and the Amazon. The aquarium continues to garner particular buzz for its state-of-the-art digital technology via light, sound, and video to further enhance the dynamic exhibits as they shift between day and night.

At the aquarium you’ll find six exhibition zones to explore, starting with the Tama River zone and its overview of the local biosphere. Next up, head over to the Oceania and Asia zones greeted by sugar gliders, and move through the Africa zone with its unique fish species before arriving at the Amazon zone, a paradise of aquatic life.

Highlights include the Agua Lab area for a glimpse of behind-the scenes at the aquarium, an underwater camera display system that uses AI for real-time analysis. The aquarium also features an official shop, a café surrounded by greenery, and a cat café where visitors can play with unique cats.
