Sengenyama is a small hill that remains as part of the Tama Plateau, carved by the ancient Tama River and other natural forces. This 80-meter-high mountain consists of three peaks: Doyama, Nakayama, and Maeyama. The park is rich in nature, covered in lush forests, and is home to multiple shrines, including Asama Shrine and Omitarashi Shrine.
From spring to summer, the park’s vibrant green forests are a highlight, and in early May, the park's unique "Musashino Kisuge" flowers reach their peak bloom for a time that always draws a crowd. This rare natural feature is exclusive to Sengenyama Park and is cherished for its beauty.
