Seika

Seika is a renowned Japanese restaurant in Jiyugaoka, known for its creative dishes made with fresh, seasonal fish and organic vegetables sourced daily from the market. The concept, "Experience the Seasons with All Five Senses," is reflected in every dish.

In addition to authentic Japanese cuisine, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes from other genres, perfected through meticulous research. At lunchtime, diners can enjoy an array of set meals, including ramen with a rich chicken and seafood broth simmered for over eight hours, a selection of three types of personal hot pots, and homemade saikyo yaki (grilled miso-marinated fish). The vibrant and delicately flavored Shokado bento is a popular choice but requires a reservation. In the evening, the restaurant offers freshly prepared clay pot rice, smoked dishes, and an omakase course (reservation required). A curated selection of sake, shochu, and wine is available to pair with the dishes.

The restaurant has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for solo diners. The open kitchen allows guests to enjoy watching the chefs in action from the full-flat counter seats. There are also table seats and private rooms for a more intimate dining experience.
