Fujisan Juku no Mori is a park hub found at 640meters high in the foothills of Mt. Fuji. Themed around “Play, Learn, and Relax”, here you’ll find everything and more for the perfect day of fun.

Once on the sprawling grounds you’ll find nothing but the full majesty of Mt. Fuji towering above, plus a treasure trove of seasonal flora across the year like roses and hydrangeas. In spring, nearly 20 varieties of cherry blossoms, including Somei Yoshino and Nanairo Sakura, bloom in full glory, offering a picture-perfect view of Japan. There’s even a rooftop deck you won’t want to miss at the visitor center, offering the perfect perch to find panoramic views of the peak hugged by cherry blossom flowers.

Make your way to the 2nd floor of the Visitor Center to find the Sky Theatre, a dynamic, full-immersive treat for the senses that lights up one of Japan’s largest models of Mt. Fuji with a high-tech light and sound projection mapping of the four seasons. There’s even a 270-inch larger than life screen and exhibits offering an intriguing deep dive into Mt. Fuji and its importance across the ages.

Unleash your inner adventurer at the park with sites like the Forest Adventure Gotemba, home to 100 different athletic activities, a park golf course even beginners can try, and the Otainai Onsen Health Center, for a time away with open-air baths looking out over Mt. Fuji.
