Majisand

Opened in 2020 in Sapporo’s Tanukikoji shopping street, Majisand is a specialty shop dedicated to fruit sandwiches. Each creation is a result of a pastry chef's meticulous research and passion for crafting the perfect balance of flavors.

The shop uses only the finest seasonal domestic fruits, carefully pairing each with complementary elements. For example, peaches are paired with a white wine jelly, and passion fruit is enhanced with an aromatic mousse, showcasing the natural flavors of the fruit in creative and delicious ways.

The whipped cream, made from Hokkaido milk, is designed to strike the perfect balance between richness and a refreshing finish. Ingredients like premium sake (daiginjo), olive oil, and honey are incorporated into the cream to further accentuate the fruit’s flavor.

Another highlight is the soft, cake-like bread, available in varieties such as plain, chocolate, and Earl Grey, carefully selected to complement the fruit fillings.
