Nomasaki Lighthouse
A photogenic lighthouse where lovers pledge their love to each other.
The oldest lighthouse in Aichi Prefecture, standing since 1921, has watched over the region. With its beautiful white exterior and nostalgic rounded design, it has become a beloved symbol of the town.
It is especially known as a special place for couples. Near the lighthouse, there is a monument called "Kizuna no Neiro" (Melody of Bonds), inspired by a musical staff. It is said that if couples attach a padlock to it, their love will be fulfilled. Many couples make a tradition of pledging their eternal love here. The padlocks, along with a "Love Certificate" and "Bond Certificate," can be purchased at the nearby "Food and Health Pavilion," famous for its salty soft serve ice cream.
The view at sunset is extraordinary. The magical hour, with the setting sun sinking into the horizon and the white lighthouse in the background, offers an unforgettable experience for visitors. You’re sure to capture a photogenic shot.
There are also benches nearby where you can sit and immerse yourself in the stunning scenery.
