Established in 1957, Mojiko Sakaemachi Gintengai is a historic shopping street located in Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

Stretching approximately 300 meters, this nostalgic arcade is filled with shops closely tied to the daily lives of local residents, alongside unique specialty stores. Notable local delicacies include Mekari Manju, traditional Japanese sweets from a longstanding confectionery shop established in the Meiji era, and Fugu Monaka, a pufferfish-shaped sweet chosen as the official snack during the prestigious third match of the Ryuo Shogi Tournament between Fujii Ryuo and Ito 7-dan in October 2023.
Other specialties include locally crafted sake such as Sarukui 1757 Special Junmai, sweet potato shochu called Ji-Imo, and a unique snack named Ojiyaki, reminiscent of the popular fish-shaped pastry taiyaki, perfect for enjoying while strolling around the retro street.
