Located in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, a region renowned for its abundant seafood year-round, Michi-no-Eki Hagi seaside market is a roadside station adjacent to Hagi Fishing Port. Inside, the lively market showcases freshly caught seafood from the morning’s haul, offered at great prices thanks to zero transportation costs.

The facility features three restaurants, serving a variety of seasonal seafood dishes, including kaisendon (seafood rice bowls), sushi, tempura, and fried seafood. Some menu items are also available for takeout. In addition to fresh fish, the market offers a selection of vegetables, fruits, meats, dried fish, and seafood products like kamaboko (fish cakes).
