Sanuki Manno National Government Park

Packed with seasonal flowers and outdoor fun—Shikoku’s only national government park, rich in nature and adventure!

Last update :

Located beside Lake Manno, Japan’s largest irrigation reservoir and a designated national scenic spot, Sanuki Manno National Government Park is the only national park in Shikoku. Spanning roughly 350 hectares, the park is a paradise of seasonal blooms—from tulips and nemophila in spring to hydrangeas and cosmos through autumn, making it a must-visit for budding flower fans.

There’s plenty to see if you’re looking for a more active day: expansive lawns, a large playground, rental bicycles, and a dog park ensure heaps of fun for friends, families and kids alike. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the full-service auto campground, complete with cabins and trailer houses.
Nature lovers will appreciate spots like the dynamic Shoryu Falls, with a 9-meter drop inspired by a rising dragon; the Nature Eco-Garden, which recreates a traditional satoyama landscape; and the peaceful Lake Manno Promenade, ideal for a scenic walk.

Even in winter when flowers are sparse, the park dazzles with over 600,000 lights in a spectacular illumination display. A variety of seasonal events are held throughout the year, and the park is also famous as the venue for MONSTER baSH, a major outdoor summer rock festival in the Chugoku–Shikoku region.
