Enjoy a World of Snow
In the winter, Lake Towada is covered in snow and ice, shrouding it in a mysterious atmosphere.
During the “Lake Towada Winter Story” event, snow sculptures and snow huts decorate the area!
At night, the scene is illuminated, so you can enjoy a fantastical lit up scene!
A must-see during the event is the fireworks, which are launched every day.
Other attractions include the “Snow Light Alley,” where you can sample Aomori specialty foods, and the “Kamakura Bar,” where you can enjoy sake in cups made of ice or apples.
