HOTELLI aalto is a north-European style hot spring resort hotel that sits near Lake Akimoto, over Mt. Bandai near Inawashiro Station. It’s just a 10 min. walk from the trailhead of the Goshikinuma (5 colored lakes) hiking course, offering you a perfect stay when enjoy the rich nature around Urabandai.
This 40-year old mountain escape was reopened in a fresh, north-European makeover that emphasizes the utmost in “living in harmony with nature” around Urabandai. Inside you’ll find an the tasteful flair of European style furniture and trimmings, giving it a cozy feel that’s welcoming for even a longer stay.
The hotel grounds are also home to a hot springs straight from the source. The open air bath connects from the indoor bath, giving you the feel of being hugged by the beauty of surrounding forest. After your dip in the springs enjoy a taste of local coffee au lait or fizzy drink. There’s also an adjoining spa available for massage and a chance to unwind with ultimate relaxation.
