For example, in "Mori no Asobiba," which was originally a gymnasium, you can play in a pool filled with 5,000 wooden acorns or explore 26 different playhouses. In "Asobi no Heya 1," there are over 100 types of wooden toys to play with. In "Tedzukuri Kobo," you can create your own original toys using wood and bamboo. Each of these areas allows you to feel the warmth of wood and experience the charm of local lumber from Yurihonjo City and beyond.
The free community zone includes exhibition rooms where you can learn about the farming and fishing tools from the Yuri region, as well as the lifestyles of people from the past. When you need a break, you can relax at "Kitchen Cafe Kino," where you can enjoy meals made with locally sourced vegetables and rice cooked in a traditional cauldron.
