Ezuriko Shopping Center, PAL
A shopping center loved for over 40 years for its extensive lineup of products.
Located in southern Iwate Prefecture, it is the largest shopping center in the region, with over 80 specialty stores as well as AEON stores selling groceries and daily necessities.
The shopping center was opened in 1981 as a locally-run shopping center, which was rare at the time. Many specialty stores are available, including fashion, general merchandise, gourmet foods, and amusements. "The Fresh Field" is recommended both for local customers and tourists, offering fresh seafood caught off Sanriku's coast, as well as carefully selected sweets and food products from specialty stores throughout Japan.
Four different types of restrooms are available, including a "kid's restroom" with a children's restroom and diaper changing area and a spacious powder room, which can be used for different purposes. Located along the Ezuriko Bypass and just off the Kitakami-Ezuriko Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway, it is easily accessible by car. It has a total parking capacity of approximately 1,500 vehicles. Free shopping bus service is available on limited days of the week.
