Komatsu no Mori is an interactive complex located at the birthplace of Komatsu, a global leader in construction and mining machinery.

Make your way in to find Japan’s only units of two world-class machines: a 7.3-meter-tall dump truck and a super-large hydraulic excavator, both larger than life.
On fixed days and times, you can even take the rare chance to jump aboard the driver’s seat.

Over at the Waku-waku Komatsu Future Pavilion, there are two electric prototype models of mini excavators ready for you to operate just like the real models from construction sites, plus move the levers over at the realistic simulator that lets you control a super-large hydraulic excavator—a constant crowd favorite.

Be sure to dig in at the Waku-waku Komatsu History Museum, a spot showcasing deep dives into Komatsu’s 100-year journey, highlighting groundbreaking technologies and products from each era. The museum also includes a theater and exhibits on the "Komatsu Way”, the DNA and legacy of the company.

Get hands on and get up close behind the super-large mining machines and construction solutions that carved the path to innovation at this world-class company.
