Fukumasamune Kagayaki Kanazawa Junmai Ginjo with Gold Leaf

This exquisite sake is crafted by Fukumitsuya, the oldest sake brewery in Kanazawa, established in 1625. Known for its commitment to creating "delicious and light" sake, Fukumitsuya meticulously selects raw rice, nurtures koji, and carefully manages fermentation and aging. Today, it holds the largest market share in Ishikawa Prefecture.
In celebration of the Hokuriku Shinkansen opening on March 14, 2015, Fukumitsuya launched new label, Fukumasamune Kagayaki Kanazawa Junmai Ginjo with Gold Leaf. This commemorative bottle features a slim design with an illustration of the Hokuriku Shinkansen W7 series on the label and gift box.
Sales saw a temporary halt but resumed to celebrate the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension between Kanazawa and Tsuruga on March 16, 2024. This Junmai Ginjo sake boasts a floral fragrance and a refined, soft taste, enhanced by shimmering gold leaf produced in Kanazawa, the top producer in Japan. The playful design of the packaging allows the Shinkansen to appear as if it's running when displayed horizontally.
